Uma Pandey College, Pusa, established in 1971, is a constituent unit of Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU), Darbhanga. Situated in a rural area of the Samastipur district, the college is registered under sections 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956. With over 5,000 students, the college provides education in the faculties of Science and Arts up to the undergraduate (UG) honors level, particularly serving students from economically and socially backward communities.
