Harsh Pati Singh Mahavidyalaya (H.P.S. College), a constituent unit of Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga, is located in Dharmanand Nagar, Madhepur, in the Madhubani district of Bihar. Established in 1972 by Late Prof. Dharmanand Singh, the college aimed to provide higher education to the economically and educationally backward region. On November 23, 1980, the college became a constituent unit of the university and is registered under 2(f) and 12(b) of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The college offers programs in Science, Commerce, and Arts, and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
