Chandramukhi Bhola Mahavidyalaya was established in 1968 in Ghoghardiha, Madhubani, surrounded by the rivers Koshi and Balan. The college was founded due to the collective efforts of local education enthusiasts who recognized the need for a higher educational institution in this remote area. The primary inspiration behind this institution was Late Shri Bhola Singh of Deorh village. The college also received support from Shri Narendra Mohan Saraswati, who named his grandmother as the second donor. Additional financial assistance was provided by Dr. Jagannath Mishra, which helped in sustaining the college's progress. The invaluable guidance of Shri Baidnath Jha, the college secretary, played a significant role in its growth and success.

The Vice-Chancellor expressed great pride in the establishment of C.M.B. College, Deorh Ghoghardiha, in August 1968. He emphasized the college’s mission to build an educated, value-driven society and invited parents, alumni, staff, and students to contribute to fulfilling its objectives. He also stressed that hard work, dedication, and perseverance are key traits for success. Students are encouraged to actively participate in shaping their futures and becoming responsible citizens.
