Benefits of Bihar Diesel Anudan Scheme 2024

1. Farmers will receive a diesel subsidy of Rs 750 per acre for each irrigation using diesel pumps at Rs 75 per liter for Kharif crops.
2. A maximum of Rs 1500 per acre will be given for two irrigations of paddy seedlings and jute crops.
3. For pulses, oilseeds, seasonal vegetables, medicinal, and aromatic plants, a subsidy of Rs 2250 per acre will be provided for three irrigations under paddy, maize, and other Kharif crops.
4. The subsidy is available for up to 8 acres of irrigation per farmer.
5. All types of farmers are eligible for this subsidy.

Eligibility Criteria

1. The scheme is open to temporary farmers in Bihar.
2. Farmers who have irrigated their fields after the official notification can apply.
3. Farmers must have a registration number to avail of the benefits.
4. Sharecroppers and farmers can also apply.
5. Only farmers from included panchayats and districts can apply.
6. The farmer's bank account must be linked to DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).

How to Register for Bihar Diesel Anudan Yojana 2024-25

1. Visit the official website of the Agriculture Department of Bihar Government.
2. Click on the "Register" option in the registration section on the home page.
3. A new registration form will appear. Click on "Demography + OTP."
4. Enter the required information and complete OTP verification.
5. Fill in the registration form carefully and submit it.
6. You will receive a login ID and password to access the portal.
