Syllabus for Preliminary Examination
The Preliminary Examination will be an objective type test. It will consist of two sections: Law Paper-I and Law Paper-II, each carrying 70% weightage, while proficiency in Hindi and English languages will carry 30% weightage. The exam will have a maximum of 100 marks, with 100 questions. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. The examination will be conducted on OMR Answer Sheets and will last for 2 hours. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination will not be counted towards the final merit.
Law: The syllabus will be the same as prescribed for Law Paper I & II for the Main Examination.

Interview:
During the interview, the candidate's suitability for employment will be assessed based on their academic record at the School, College, and University, as well as their character, personality, address, and physique. The questions posed may cover a wide range of topics, including general knowledge, current affairs, and present-day issues, and may not necessarily be academic or legal in nature. Additionally, candidates will be evaluated on their proficiency in Rajasthani dialects and their understanding of social customs prevalent in Rajasthan. The marks awarded during the interview will be added to the candidate's marks obtained in the written test.
List of Candidates:
Following the interview, a list of candidates will be compiled based on their aggregate marks. If two or more candidates achieve equal marks in the aggregate, they will be ranked based on their overall suitability for the service. Candidates from Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, as well as those in the Persons with Benchmark Disability category, must obtain a minimum of 35% marks in the aggregate of the Written Examination and the Interview to be recommended for appointment. For other candidates, a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate of the written examination and the interview is required for recommendation for appointment.
